Call for Speakers

On behalf of the SCEMA workshop planning committee, it is our pleasure to offer to all interested parties, a “Call for Speakers” for consideration as we work to develop the program for the 2020 Annual Workshop. This “Call for Speakers” is an invitation for you to submit written ideas for program and subject matter to be included in workshops, panel discussions, training seminars and user groups.

The general format of our annual workshop includes keynote speakers and break-out sessions. We may like your topic so much that we decide to include it, so we are looking for experienced presenters to offer dynamic sessions that will further the training and education of our members.

Due to the fact that our organization promotes an all-hazards approach to emergency management, we are looking for a broad range of topics including: case studies, lessons learned, best practices and other practical applications.

This is your opportunity to provide your peers with tools and techniques that have been an asset to you and your organization. If you think you have what it takes to be included in our speaker’s bureau, please click the “Call for Speakers” box below.
